He did know it.  When asked on camera a few weeks ago if he would observe the royal silence, he replied, “I’m not stupid”.  But he is stupid.  Generations of royal offspring have been intellectually ordinary.  Not one of them has been academic.  Charles’ son William was shipped off to St Andrew’s University to study History of Art.  He could not even cut that, and had to change courses to geography.  My sister-in-law’s daughter was in his year group and has always said he didn’t do any work.  I would hazard a guess that a half-respectable St Andrew’s geography degree would require an IQ of 117/118.  William is probably six or seven points below that, which is shop manager territory.

In Charles’ case, I would give him a couple of points above his son.  Provincial estate agent territory.  He is certainly stupid enough to be taken in by “the science” on climate alarmism, and to feel perfectly comfortable jetting to Davos and to this and that global climate summit for a good helping of bias confirmation from “world leaders” and the global rich.  Back in his royal palaces no one around him will counter or correct his opinions.  He will never hear or read contrary arguments.  He thinks it’s all concrete fact.

No, GW, I’m not talking about Mr. Gardner or his multiple intelligence theories. I’m talking about Social intelligence; or more commonly referred to as “people smart”. There’s people smart and book smart. Some possess the latter and not the former. Obviously there are plenty of book-smart people who woefully lack social skills ... and vice versa. Some lack both book-smarts and people-smarts; some possess both. Recognizing the differences between book-smart and people-smart is an easy task. It comes naturally—or should come naturally—and it’s part of our everyday life. King Charles III fits into one of those aforementioned categories. You be the judge to determine where he fits in.

James, probably the denaturing moment ... the moment when control over the people’s destiny passed wholly to a managerial class at the very dawn of the modernist polity ... was when Cromwell suppressed the Levellers, about which I wrote in October 2020:

The English Civil Wars are situated in the long (and, obviously, on-going) struggle of the Anglo-Saxon sons and daughters of the soil for deliverance from the Norman heel, and thence from all arbitrary power.  Lilburne – as near to an English nationalist as one could get in that religious age - actually wrote of common law as a Norman Yoke.  It is easy for us as nationalists today to understand the instinctive sense of English peoplehood which imbued and inspired Lilburne and all the other Levellers.  They were populists, and could command the stated support of a third of the populace of London.  But they were a minority in the New Model Army.  While all the parliamentarian forces made war on the degrading, subjugating power of absolute monarchy, the majority did not support the cause of a people’s participatory democracy, as conceived, for example, by Rainsborough who, after uttering his celebrated dictum at Putney, said:

“I think it clear, that every Man that is to live under a Government ought first by his own Consent to put himself under that Government; and I do think that the poorest man in England is not at all bound in a strict sense to that Government that he hath not had a voice to put Himself under.”

And therein is the outline of a second struggle of that time.  The greater part of the senior officers or Grandees, including Oliver Cromwell, the future Lord Protector, had fought not for a parliament with supreme authority over the law but for a constitutionally sovereign parliament above the people.  They fought not to give the people an equal vote but to restrict the vote to landowners like themselves.  They rejected the Levellers’ insistence that the people, not their elected representatives, are the final source of authority, and must be so because, in the words of the Leveller’s Manifesto:

… having by wofull experience found the prevalence of corrupt interests powerfully [incline] most men once entrusted with authority, to pervert the same to their own domination, and to the prejudice of our Peace and Liberties ...

Nothing is new.  Nothing really changes.  Nor would it change after the crushing of Leveller mutinies at Bishopsgate, Banbury, Andover and Burford by forces under Cromwell’s command, all in April and May 1649.  That proved to be the tipping point.  The great London funerals for the murders of Rainsborough in Pontefract in 1648 (in a bungled Royalist kidnap attempt), and Robert Lockyer, executed by Cromwell pour encourager les autres after the Bishopsgate mutiny, were forgotten.  The last full-throated Anglo-Saxon cry for all the people’s freedom and for fair-dealing died away.  It was not, after all, the time for a politics of the people.  It was the time for the modern, and the modernist understanding of the individual and his unfettering will and, thereby, a novel freedom abstracted from its ground in human presence and affirmation.

The thread to that post is a fine example of the ill-fitting three-cornered hat which MR was at that time.

I had a conversation at the Speccie this morning with a half-Jewish lady who lives in France but spends a lot of time on the threads.  The nominal subject was the state of France and the French:

People forget that the roots of the Yellow Vest movement were in the country, not the cities. The thought of jobless young men roaming the streets does not appeal. We do have a couple of immigrant families fairly recently arrived but they are families with children and have been accepted and absorbed.

One final point. In our regional monthly newspaper that arrived a few days ago, to my astonishment I noticed an article headed “Together we will fight racism in our region”. In 26 years I have never seen that before and it tells me that there is trouble brewing.

GW, you two are talking passed each other. The issue is separate and distinct gene-pools sharing the same geographic area. That situation, over time, invariably results in the mixing of the gene-pools; which, of course, leads to the probable extinction of at least one of the gene pools. A good example of that would be Cuba. In the 1950s the demographic makeup there was approximately 90% white and 10% black. Fast forward to today and due to the gene-pool mixing process, Cuba is now approximately 35% White, 50% mulatto, and 15% black. Whites are steadily on track to being blended out of existence. Of course people of European descent across the entire planet are, to one extent or another, being led down a similar path as Cuba. I doubt those types of facts/information ever entered into the thinking process of PetaJ.

This comes back to what I was saying to you the other day about MR’s doors being open.  As nationalists we must model openness to the closed mind.  Yes, the normies are closed off from us behind prison walls of fear and conformity.  The meaning of it is that, ultimately, they are afraid of truth and living in truth.  If we do not take the opportunity to speak that truth, then where and when in their lives will they hear it?

Here are the words of Enoch Powell, spoken in that fateful speech to a Conservative Association meeting in Birmingham on 20th April 1968.  In this passage he is referring to a conversation with a man in his constituency who struggled to understand why the future for his own children was so dark:

I can already hear the chorus of execration.  How dare I say such a horrible thing?  How dare I stir up trouble and inflame feelings by repeating such a conversation?

The answer is that I do not have the right not to do so.  Here is a decent, ordinary fellow Englishman, who in broad daylight in my own town says to me, his Member of Parliament, that his country will not be worth living in for his children.

I simply do not have the right to shrug my shoulders and think about something else. What he is saying, thousands and hundreds of thousands are saying and thinking - not throughout Great Britain, perhaps, but in the areas that are already undergoing the total transformation to which there is no parallel in a thousand years of English history.

I, for one, haven’t given up on them, GW. I’m active on conservative oriented Facebook Pages along with several popular conservative websites. I keep plugging away trying to nudge the normies towards our pro white-identity, pro white-preservation, cause. It’s a difficult tricky task but the mostly positive feedback I receive encourages me to plow forward. One thing is for certain, I will never give up the fight.
