Apropos of the arrest and prosecution of Emma West (#1, #2, #3) and Brendon O’Connell (3 years imprisonment), will someone mete out “justice” in this case?

A potential one-man mental hospital for Anders Behring Breivik!

If one considers the logistics of the Norwegian massacre on July 22, 2011, the anniversary of the King David Hotel bombing by Jews, there’s no way one man did it, and the totality of the evidence points to Jews. The alleged perpetrator, Anders Behring Breivik, was later declared insane and unfit for trial, the rationale given for his insanity being completely bogus. Anders Behring Breivik is reportedly kept in isolation. Since he needs to be confined to a mental hospital, now they’re saying that there’s no psychiatric facility in Norway secure enough to prevent him from escaping, and hence they may build a one-man hospital to confine Breivik!

At this point on has to wonder whether Anders Behring Breivik is an actual person. I don’t think he is. There’s the bogus facebook page, the digitally edited photographs of this alleged person, the strange low-resolution picture allegedly depicting a man shooting people on Utoya Island taken from above [who took it?], the bogus rationale for insanity, and the latest excuse to avoid people interacting with a real person named Breivik. There’s also all the Jews and Jewish propaganda disseminators who received an emailed manifesto, allegedly from Breivik, shortly before the attacks, which according to the narrative must have been when he briefly stopped somewhere to email his contacts while driving to his destination, loaded with bombs, guns and ammunition. The email recipients haven’t provided the header of the email so that the email address and IP of the sender can be traced. It’s piling up. The job is more kosher than it originally appeared.

The piracy of digital copyrighted content: SOPA, PIPA, etc.

Readers will be aware of legislative endeavors such as SOPA and PIPA (also ACTA and others), superficially intended to tackle the problem of piracy of digital copyrighted content, and the recent seizure of megaupload.com and associated arrests. Whereas the copyright owners could work out deals with file hosts to charge reasonable fees for the distribution of their copyrighted content, they’re not interested. It has been pointed out that a major reason is that they wish to control the dissemination of information—“they” being the very small minority that owns the copyrights to the majority of accessible-for-fee digital content. Digital technologies make it easy to cheaply produce, or simply upload, and use the bandwidth of file hosts, such as the former megaupload, to disseminate gigabytes of information that the authorities may not like. But there are two other perspectives that should also be discussed.

The first is about the nature of copyrighted content and the meaning of piracy. The pirate bay says:

Over a century ago Thomas Edison got the patent for a device which would “do for the eye what the phonograph does for the ear.” He called it the Kinetoscope. He was not only amongst the first to record video, he was also the first person to own the copyright to a motion picture.

Because of Edison’s patents for the motion pictures it was close to financially impossible to create motion pictures in the North American east coast. The movie studios therefore relocated to California, and founded what we today call Hollywood. The reason was mostly because there was no patent. There was also no copyright to speak of, so the studios could copy old stories and make movies out of them—like

Fantasia, one of Disney’s biggest hits ever.

So, the whole basis of this industry, that today is screaming about losing control over immaterial rights, is that they circumvented immaterial rights. They copied (or put in their terminology: “stole”) other people’s creative works, without paying for it. They did it in order to make a huge profit. Today they’re all successful and most of the studios are on the Fortune 500 list of the richest companies in the world. Congratulations—it’s all based on being able to re-use other people’s creative works. And today they hold the rights to what other people create.

If you want to get something released, you have to abide to their rules. The ones they created after circumventing other people’s rules.

The reason they are always complaintng about “pirates” today is simple. We’ve done what they did. We circumvented the rules they created and created our own. We crushed their monopoly by giving people something more efficient. We allow people to have direct communication between each other, circumventing the profitable middle man, that in some cases take over 107% of the profits (yes, you pay to work for them).

It’s all based on the fact that we’re competition. We’ve proven that their existence in their current form is no longer needed. We’re just better than they are.

And the funny part is that our rules are very similar to the founding ideas of the USA. We fight for freedom of speech. We see all people as equal. We believe that the public, not the elite, should rule the nation. We believe that laws should be created to serve the public, not the rich corporations.

The Pirate Bay is truly an international community. The team is spread all over the globe—but we’ve stayed out of the USA. We have Swedish roots and a Swedish friend said this: The word SOPA means “trash” in Swedish. The word PIPA means “a pipe” in Swedish. This is of course not a coincidence. They want to make the internet into a one-way pipe, with them at the top, shoving trash through the pipe down to the rest of us obedient consumers. The public opinion on this matter is clear. Ask anyone on the street and you’ll learn that no one wants to be fed with trash. Why the U.S. government wants the American people to be fed with trash is beyond our imagination but we hope that you will stop them, before we all drown...

...To fix the “problem of piracy” one should go to the source of the problem. The entertainment industry say they’re creating “culture” but what they really do is stuff like selling overpriced plushy dolls and making 11-year-old girls become anorexic... either from working in the factories that creates the dolls for basically no salary or by watching movies and tv shows that make them think that they’re fat.

Thaddeus Russell provides additional details about how Thomas Edison’s intellectual property and equipment were stolen:

Soon after he invented the motion picture camera and projector, Thomas Edison formed his own movie production and distribution company. In 1908, Edison joined with nine other film companies to form the Motion Picture Patents Company, a monopoly that attempted to control the making, distribution, and showing of all movies in the United States. Edison and “The Trust” pledged to make only movies that promoted wholesome, Christian, and “American” values. But on the Lower East Side, a group of entrepreneurial Jewish immigrants used Edison’s inventions to produce and screen their own films, which were shown in thousands of nickelodeons – five-cent movie theaters – in working-class neighborhoods all over the country. These “outlaw” filmmakers started out as vaudeville and burlesque promoters, and many of their movies were sexier, more violent, and far more entertaining than the bland fare put out by the Edison monopoly.

The great inventor was furious that “Jewish profiteers” were stealing his patent, getting rich from it, and using it to spread “smut” across America. So too were law enforcement officials. In 1907 a judge in Chicago wrote that the nickelodeons “caused, indirectly or directly, more juvenile crime coming into my court than all other causes combined.” Shortly thereafter the Chicago city council passed an ordinance granting power to the chief of police to censor motion pictures played in the city. In New York in 1907, soon after the police commissioner recommended that nickel shows be wiped out entirely, Mayor George McClellan was so moved by the evidence of immoral motion pictures polluting the minds of his citizens that on Christmas Day he ordered that all of the illicit motion picture houses be shut down.

Moral condemnations and court injunctions didn’t stop the proliferation of nickelodeons that showed unseemly fare and violated Edison’s patent, so the inventor and his colleagues hired squads of thugs to shut them down. They seized film, beat up directors and actors, forced audiences out of theaters, smashed the nickelodeon arcades and set fire to entire city blocks where they were concentrated. But fortunately for the Jewish renegades, they lived and operated in neighborhoods where hundreds of soldiers stood ready and able to protect them – men like “Big” Jack Zelig, “Lefty Louie” Rosenberg, “Gyp the Blood” Horowitz, Joe “The Greaser” Rosenzweig, and the leaders of the notorious Yiddish Black Hand, Jacob “Johnny” Levinsky and “Charley the Cripple” Vitoffsky. There were even women ready for the fight – fierce, well-armed “gun-mols” like Bessie London, Tillie Finkelstein, Birdie Pomerantz, and Jennie “The Factory” Morris.

Cameras, projectors, film, and sound equipment disappeared from the storerooms of Edison companies and showed up on makeshift movie lots on the Lower East Side. Bullets rained down on the Trust’s enforcers from the rooftops of nickelodeons. And massive fires destroyed the Edison distributors’ warehouses in the Bronx, Philadelphia, and Chicago. By 1915 the Trust had disbanded and the outlaw filmmakers moved west, where they could make bigger and better movies. Who were the men who, with the help of their nicknamed friends, fought Thomas Edison and the law and won? They were Marcus Loew of Loews Theatres and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Carl Laemmle of Universal Pictures, Adolph Zukor of Paramount Pictures, William Fox of Twentieth-Century Fox, and the brothers Harry, Albert, Sam, and Jack Warner.

The second issue’s about disposable income. Most people will support the singers, musicians, authors and content producers they like if they have disposable income, but the same community that has acquired copyright of most written works, music, TV programming and movies produced in recent decades, producing a substantial amount of this work in bad faith—e.g., lies, propaganda—is also behind international banking, thereby impoverishing the majority and making disposable income hard to come up with.

Bradley Manning, Julian Assange and Wikileaks

Many should know that wikileaks is a 100% kosher undertaking.  The leaks comprise of data that are easily falsified in part.  The leaks embarrass America or Arabs, not Israel.  The leaks are about relatively trivial matters but never serious issues such as central banks being private banks, not government banks.  The “whistleblowers” don’t just maintain official versions of major events such as 9/11 but ridicule dissent as nonsense that detracts from the “serious work” they’re doing with their exposes!  The U.S. ICE (Israeli Content Enforcement) agency of the Department of Homeland Security, which seizes domains willy nilly for copyright infringement, hasn’t bothered with wikileaks.  And so on… 

Some crucial leaks were said to have been provided by Private Bradley Manning to Julian Assange.  Both men look effeminate, and one would think they’re homos, which makes for bad PR.  So they put on a show where Assange was accused of raping two Swedish women, making him appear a macho man, and used the ruckus to attract attention to wiki leaks.  All this would be amusing if it weren’t for the plight of Bradley Manning, who’s been imprisoned in solitary confinement, cut off from friends and family.  Long-term incarceration in such circumstances is designed to break people down and make them confess to anything you want them to.

Manning’s trial is currently under way by Americans even though he is British, and there isn’t much that can be done to prevent him from being convicted of bogus charges, but you can help expose the sham to others and make it embarrassing for those working for the Israelis behind the wikileaks scam to be who they are.

Review of 2083: A European Declaration of Independence

Anders Behring Breivik is said to be a Justiciar Knight, whose badge, depicting what the reincarnated Templar Knights are about, is contrasted with the painting titled “Beat the whites with the red wedge,” a Bolshevist propaganda poster from 1919. Based on this comparison, what can you infer about the manifesto he allegedly wrote? Another clue: the Archeofuturists have shoveled a hole that they’ll enlarge into a massive pit within which they’ll be buried.

Teasers aside, here’s my review of 2083: A European Declaration of Independence, and more. I’m not posting it below because I intend to revise it.

Obama-Osama drama

The discussion, at MR, of two recent significant events—Obama’s long-form birth certificate and Osama’s death—has been unproductive, needlessly acrimonious and otherwise lackluster.  I tried to remedy the situation by leaving a comment as “Try critical thinking,” but it wasn’t of any help.  Thus I must now awaken from my slumber and post on the significance of these events, which in my estimation are opportune for leading some fence sitters and naïve individuals into the light.  Naturally, Amren, Vdare, Sailer et al. won’t adequately address them.  The issues are sufficiently important for me to mull making this a sticky post.

It’s difficult to avoid enemy infiltration, especially in an open forum, but civility may result if the discussion is primarily fact-based and detractors exhorted to reciprocate.

So here we go.

Telegraphing one’s intentions

For the last four or five weeks the Daily Telegraph’s new, relatively open comment policy has been reaping a distasteful reward for the Establishment stick-in-the-muds who normally read the paper.  Dozens of commenters have been encouraged to comment on “issue” threads in an increasingly eye-raising way.  Suddenly, it is possible to say almost anything, and possible, therefore, to influence discourse.

That possibility I suggested to articulate BNP members here a week and a half ago.  They weren’t interested.  But I am.  If any MR readers think it worthwhile operating on these threads as a team, working to stretch the envelope and get the right message out ahead of the misguided one, please feel free to say so.

Inevitablism on a roll

Irwin Stelzer can be justly proud of his career.  As his entry at Wikipedia makes clear:

... he is someone whose writings are taken seriously by powerful men on both sides of the Atlantic, and who is no doubt on first-name terms with many of them.  Today, in the Daily Telegraph, he offered them his view on How to make immigration work in Britain’s interests.  I won’t bore you with the details.  He is, as a man of the Establishment, concerned that “hostility to migrants is sweeping Europe”.  He has a plan.  “Britain can do little to reduce the flow of immigrants” from the EU, he says.  “Immigrants possess skills that are in short supply here, and add billions of pounds to national output,” he says.  But the losers who see their job prospects taken away by immigration and their neighbourhoods transformed could be paid off.  “How so?, he says ... “By requiring employers to bid for the limited number of entry permits, the proceeds to be remitted to the communities on which the immigrant imposes costs, or to HM Treasury.”  He says.

No doubt, “powerful men” will read the column, welcome Stelzer’s little scheme (with reservations, of course), and file it away for some opportune moment when the minister is in melt-down and the briefing paper for tomorrow’s Cabinet is still to be written.  But what of those damned losers in the migration game?  The indigenous, as they seem to be calling themselves these days.  Are they grateful for Mr Stelzer’s ingenuity?  Are their fears and hostility calmed?  Are they looking forward to selling-out to race-replacement for a few thousand quid?

Well, I’ve never seen a thread like this one in any English national daily.  Never.

It Ain’t Half Racist Mum

To take a reliable reading on where you are it is sometimes helpful to establish a sound bearing where you are starting from.

Brits of a certain age (and perhaps a few others) will almost certainly recognise that the title is a riff on a very popular TV sitcom from the 1970s that - it seems almost surreal now – extended to eight series (US = seasons) and provided the launch pad for at least one post-series musical career in the pop music field. It Ain’t Half Hot Mum operated on a number of different levels. At the time it was transmitted, many Britons would have had recent experience of service in one or another hot and humid locale, ranging from Aden, to Bahrain, to Singapore or Hong Kong. If not personally, then almost certainly a close relative would have done, and would have no doubt regaled friends and family about the challenges involved when dealing with the natives in such places. Many Britons had such thoughts in mind when contemplating the natives who turned up in Blighty, uninvited and unwanted, more or less out of the blue, and part of the genius of It Ain’t Half Hot Mum, and the secret behind its popular appeal, was in providing an outlet for such thoughts which, if expressed in real life, would have rendered the culprit liable to prosecution under the Race Relations Act. One of the mysteries of the age is how the BBC found itself able to fund and disseminate such a message, and how it managed to evade censure for quite so long.

But it’s not ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’ itself which deserves our attention here, since it is in truth not ranked amongst the BBC’s most celebrated achievements (never having been aired on PBS to my knowledge), but rather a production that took the title above for itself. “It Ain’t Half Racist Mum” was produced for transmission in the BBC’s “Open Door” open access slot, and transmitted in the spring of 1979, a few months before Margaret Thatcher swept to victory on a twin platform of getting Britain back to work and halting the swamping of Britain by unwanted migrants. As it happened, one of the Thatcher’s government’s first administrative actions was to sanction the admittance of 10,000 Vietnamese boat people, whose numbers have now swollen to over 100,000 thanks to the magic of chain migration.

It Ain’t Half Racist Mum is remarkable on a number of fronts. The first is that although it was made only 30 years ago, it presents itself as a counter-establishment, even sub-Marxist piece of agit-prop. Viewing it today, one can only marvel at the extent at which the viewpoints expressed and the language used have become staples of mainstream discourse.

The first video segment, linked below, is relatively uninteresting, presenting as it does the British film-maker responsible for the programme being interviewed in (I think) 1984 by two common-or-garden American dweebs as a preamble to its US broadcast. The subsequent segments are of much greater interest.

Black parents, white baby, Jewish journalism?

I was very incredulous when I first saw this piece.

THE stunned black dad of a newborn, WHITE, baby girl declared yesterday — “I’m sure she’s my kid ... I just don’t know why she’s BLONDE.”

… But as the baby’s older brother and sister - both black - crowded round the “little miracle” at their home in South London, Ben declared: “Of course she’s mine.”

Blue-eyed blonde Nmachi, whose name means “Beauty of God” in the Nigerian couple’s homeland, has baffled genetics experts because neither Ben nor wife Angela have ANY mixed-race family history.

Pale genes skipping generations before cropping up again could have explained the baby’s appearance.

Ben also stressed: “My wife is true to me. Even if she hadn’t been, the baby still wouldn’t look like that.

It is much like several other reports that have appeared in the press over the past few years (for example, the mulato couple that had the twins, one white and one black, or the various white couples who have had a black baby).  Average people of all races see this sort of thing as feel-good human-interest material, so they do not look at it critically.  The automatic presumption is that the people reported to be the parents, are in fact the parents; you know, “momma’s baby, daddy’s maybe”.

But the release of classified documents reveals that Joseph McCarthy was right after all about the extent of Soviet infiltration into the highest reaches of the U.S government.

Thanks to the public release of top secret FBI decryptions of Soviet communications, as well as the release under the fifty year rule of FBI records and Soviet archives, we now know that the Communist spying McCarthy fought against was extensive, reaching to the highest level of the State department and the White House.

We reveal that many of McCarthy’s anticommunist investigations were in fact on target. His fears about the effect Soviet infiltration might be having on US foreign policy, particularly in the Far East were also well founded.

The decrypts also reveal that people such as Rosenberg, Alger Hiss and even Robert Oppenheimer were indeed working with the Soviets. We explore why much of this information, available for years to the FBI, was not made public. We also examine how its suppression prevented the prosecution of suspects.

Finally, we explore the extent to which Joseph McCarthy, with his unsavoury methods and smear tactics, could have done himself a disservice, resulting in his name being forever synonymous with paranoia and the ruthless suppression of free speech.

Rod Liddle does bigotry.  But is it really worse than hypocrisy?

Five years ago the distinctly loose journalistic cannon that is Rod Liddle opined on things he shouldn’t say about black people.  It was one of those moments when the thought crosses one’s mind, “what does this person think privately?”  Now we know:

Former Today editor Rod Liddle under fire over ‘racist’ posts on football supporters’ website

Former Today programme editor Rod Liddle has been accused of racism after writing a series of inflammatory messages on a football supporters’ website.

Mr Liddle, who now works for The Spectator magazine and is tipped to become the next editor of The Independent, used crude language to argue for the axeing of all black-only organisations.
He also contributed to a debate in which supporters demanded violent attacks on a black footballer.

The 49-year-old left the messages on Millwall Online - an independent website unconnected to the club - under the username ‘monkeymfc’.

The first message was written in October, when he contributed to a debate about whether the BNP should admit non-white members.

He wrote: ‘There’s thousands of organisations catering exclusively to black and asian minorities. **** ‘em, close them down. Why do blacks need a forum of their own? As a power base and cash cow for ****s and in order to perpetuate the myth of widespread discrimination.’

The next day he joined in a thread about a row between Millwall’s Neil Harris and the Ghanaian-English player Kevin Amankwaah, who had accused Harris of racially abusing him - an allegation Harris denies.

After abusive comments about Amankwaah by other users, Liddle writes he has heard Harris’s alleged comment was: ‘**** off you spearchucking African ****.’

Later that month, another comment written by monkeymfc appears in a thread called ‘Channel 4 claiming blacks are thick’, about a documentary alleging racial differences in intelligence.

In comments Liddle strongly denies writing, the contributor says: ‘On average a little under 10 per cent thicker than whites; 15 per cent thicker than east Asians. I thought everyone knew, too. Some argument about cultural bias of tests, but same results come up in US.’

From the Brit papers

Nothing much doing, so here’s a trawl through some current news stories in the British papers.

When the history is written of how the native English finally woke up, the press’s ineptness at managing the public’s frustration and discontent will surely figure somewhere.  They know what can’t be discussed, of course (so do you, so I won’t labour the point by listing it all).  And they know what has to be discussed (mostly the “racist” and “fascist” BNP).  But they cannot find it in themselves to maintain a consistent line.  Maybe it’s the recession, which is a permanent feature in the newspaper industry, but they are perpetually oblivious to the accumulative effect of all these juicy news stories they run.

The swine flu outbreak was a ‘false pandemic’ driven by drug companies that stood to make billions of pounds from a worldwide scare, a leading health expert has claimed.

Wolfgang Wodarg, head of health at the Council of Europe, accused the makers of flu drugs and vaccines of influencing the World Health Organisation’s decision to declare a pandemic.

This led to the pharmaceutical firms ensuring ‘enormous gains’, while countries, including the UK, ‘squandered’ their meagre health budgets, with millions being vaccinated against a relatively mild disease.

... Dr Wodarg said: ‘The governments have sealed contracts with vaccine producers where they secure orders in advance and take upon themselves almost all the responsibility.
‘In this way the producers of vaccines are sure of enormous gains without having any financial risks.

‘So they just wait, until WHO says “pandemic” and activate the contracts.’

He also claims that to further push their interests, leading drug companies placed ‘their people’ in the ‘cogs’ of the WHO and other influential organisations.

State-sponsored attack on the German immune system

The man coming towards the camera is Günter Wallraff, German investigative reporter and creator of the new film ‘Black on White’, set to open tonight in Germany.  His black face is about as unconvincing as Ms. Stone’s.  The Negro in the movie’s trailer is impressed, though, agreeing emphatically that Wallraff looks better. 

Why is Wallraff doing this?  As he would have us believe, it’s to expose the unacceptable racism that still exists in Germany.  But he gets closer to the real reason in an interview he gave at a recent book fair in Frankfurt.  Wallraff describes one of the scenes in the movie where he tries to rent an apartment in Cologne.  The old lady who is renting the place is very friendly to him, but will not rent it.  When someone else from the film crew comes by later to try renting it, she tells them about how shockingly black the last person was and how she won’t allow it, due to their lifestyle, the spices they use, etc.  This expression of freedom of association, illegal in Germany, is considered by Wallraff to be an example of terrible racism (so terrible that it survived the cut from his 600+ hours of footage).  But this isn’t the worst of it:

What was more appalling…  We had to take legal precautions.  Afterwards, we went to people to get permission so it could be shown.  With some, it didn’t work, so we had to blur their faces.  With this woman, as with some others, though, she stood by it.  She had no problem whatsoever with it…Within her circles she felt this would make her appreciated…It wasn’t something said without thinking…

The goal of the film is to shame people, to serve as a lesson to anyone who would dare resist, or merely question, state-sponsored race-replacement.  The German racial immune system is in bad shape after decades of Holocaust and war guilt propaganda.  Herr Wallraff was outraged to find a healthy, if somewhat aged, T cell.  I’m sure he’ll be pleased if his film has a radiative effect.  To what extent it does will of course depend on who sees the film.  Most of those who see it tonight in the Hackesche Höfe Kino (Berlin) will likely have already made up their minds that race-replacement is a good thing, not to be resisted.  The targetted dosage will be delivered later, when the film is broadcast (the German equivalent, ausstrahlen, fittingly is based on ‘to radiate’) on ARD, one of Germany’s public stations, which anyone who owns a TV or radio is legally required to finance.  The film has been sponsored by one of these public stations (WDR).  I don’t know when exactly it will be broadcast, but I won’t be seeing it in the theater.  Being asked to pay twice for genocidal propaganda is too much, even in the BRD.

Cameron and the tactics of the Establishment media

The last few days have been a fallow period at MR for me as for others.  But that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been working away diligently elsewhere.  Aside from actively seeking material to post, I’ve planted the usual incendiary devices on various MSM threads.  Some made it on to the page, some were lifted quickly, some did not make it at all.  John Standing wrote a couple of letters to Waitrose (who, as a result of a campaign by supposed cusomers, pulled their advertising from Fox over the Beck/Obama affair).  Another Guardian ban has come my way.  It’s been, as Vinny Jones once said, emotional.

The main activity has been thread fighting at the Guardian’s CiF facility, which seems to be especially Judaised at the moment. 

During his leadership election David Cameron made a promise to the “right-wing” Cornerstone group of MPs that he would pull the party out of the federalist EPP grouping in the European Parliament.  Give him his due - he was true to his word, and entered an alliance with some pretty sturdy and loyal Poles, Czechs and Latvians in the European Conservatives and Reformists.  In the process Edward McMillan-Scott, who seems to have scarcely been a Tory at all, has wound up getting himself expelled from the party.

McMillan-Scott has been writing articles regularly about his hate-object in the ECR, Michal Kaminski of Poland’s Law and Order party.  By British political standards Kaminsky has a fine record.  In 2001 he distinguished himself by campaigning against the then left-wing Polish government’s apology for the fictional 1941 murder by Poles of a fictional number of Jews at Jedwabne.  McMillan Scott has been promiscuous in his use of the Jedwabne narrative in each missive, and I’ve tried to provide the counter-arguments in the threads.  But he isn’t the only journalistic shyster trying to nail Cameron by nailing Kaminsky.  There are at least four others at it and, on top of that, there is a second anti-Cameron front centred on the Latvians in the ECR (who, of course, are “SS apologists”, but we’ll come to that).

John Standing writes to BBC Look East - Updated 09.09.09

Simon Darby posted this link to a news report on a BBC regional programme, Look East.  John Standing found the opening remarks by reporter Nikki Jenkins so staggeringly dishonest he took it upon himself to contact the lady’s employer:

At this stage I am not seeking a formal process, and will be satisfied with an honest and sincere reply from Nikki to the following questions, which I put to her in good faith and out of a desire to better understand what motivates this sort of journalistic behaviour.

Dear Nikki,

You opened a video report on an attack of the police in Luton by Muslim youths with the following words:-

“Well, the Home Secretary’s ban on marching worked.  The BNP didn’t turn up.  But there again they didn’t have to.  These young men did their job for them.”

I have the following questions for you, Nikki:

1. Were you mistaken about the British National Party being due to attend the banned English Defence League march, organising it or being in any way associated with it?

2. If you knew the BNP was, in fact, totally unconnected to the banned march but you wished to make an association nonetheless, what reason did you have for doing so?

3. Would making such an association be within the BBC’s rules on journalism?

4. Did you attempt to contact the BNP to find out if it was involved in the banned march?

5. Would misrepresenting the BNP in your report be acceptable journalism?

6. Will you issue a public retraction?

7. If not, why not?

8. Why did you not identify the youths attacking the police as Muslims?

9. Was their behaviour racist?

10. Why did you not apply the moral yardstick to them that you wrongly applied to the BNP?

Now, I am loathe to place my real name and address on the contact details below this panel because of the violence of the forces opposing the BNP and its supporters.  Notwithstanding my anonymity, I wish you, Nikki, to take this mail as a serious matter that requires your earnest attention.  Would you provide me, please, with the answers I am seeking?

Ignoring this mail or attempting to answer my questions in any way other than fully and honestly will result in a formal complaint to the Corporation.

In the event of a reply John Standing will no doubt post it here.

Press Call

I have received an urgent request from one of the producers of The Agenda, a Press TV weekly current affairs programme broadcast worldwide by Sky.  On Thursday 13th August, at 2.30pm in London they will be recording a programme titled “The spread of the far right in Europe and economic climate”.  It will be a studio discussion among a four-man panel overseen by Yvonne Ridley, which is a name to conjure with.  They are seeking a serious contribution from our side.

I imagine the show will have a Muslim-centric, Al Jezeera feel to it.  The usual hostility may be in the offing.  Still, I would be tempted to accept the invitation myself, if only to make sure that the argument for our people’s survival is expressed in my own terms for a change.  However, I am on family duty this week and cannot get up to town for the day.  That said, MR is a broad church, and there are highly competent and trustworthy people on our slate and in our commentariat who might like to engage in this exercise.  Please contact me through the button under the header if you are interested.

Paranoia at a neck-tie party

If you have twenty-five minutes to spare over the next couple of days, please take a look at this BBC i-player replay of yesterday morning’s The Big Questions.  I don’t watch much TV, and the Sunday religious hour is not required viewing.  But when I read Simon Darby’s blog this morning I had to take a look at the cause of his ire.

The Big Questions is a pretty poor quality studio-audience product.  It sits in the BBC’s Ethics and Religion genre, meaning “difficult issues” are supposed to be debated.  The debating point this time was: does the BNP have the right to be heard?  Apparently, by no means a no-brainer for the democratic and freedom-loving people of Birmingham.

We are all very used to the media nose-holding that goes on when the BNP is debated.  But the behaviour on display here, particularly from the three panellists and the host Nicky Campbell, goes far beyond that.  In fact, beyond anything I have seen before and into the realms of Salem.  Here is what Simon Darby had to say about it:-

Before I review today’s The Big Questions, which you can see by clicking on the image below, I want to tell you something that you will not know. Originally this debate had been set up behind my back with two local BNP councillors. Knowing that this was just going to be an ambush orchestrated by the wise-cracking wannabe left-wing comedian and TV presenter Nicky Campbell, I immediately pulled the plug on it.

Not that our two guys they had lined up would have been a push over, it simply wasn’t fair to put them through what was tantamount to a criminal trial. Talking to the two girls from the show, who I will not name, even at a late stage they were begging me to go ahead with the original plan trying to convince me that the programme would need local politicians in order to work. However, I was adamant that if it was going ahead at all it would not be loaded against us and as a consequence Andrew [Brons] and Rev West found themselves in the hot seats.

Fittingly, on a day when the Sunday papers were quite literally dripping with hate, lies and hysteria towards the BNP, this programme, at least initially, typified the mood. I found myself at first angry, frustrated and towards the end enormously proud of our representatives. Throughout their childish, emotive and almost ritual baiting they kept their dignity and made their points concisely and articulately.

Hate, lies and, now, hysteria sums it up.  It all has the ring of a morbid psychological condition about it.  It is plain that for all who speak the BNP has been built up as some spectre of immanent evil.  Even with war psychosis at its height I doubt if my parents’ generation experienced such feelings about genuine National Socialists.  But these folks have lost all touch with reality.  One wonders in the case of the whites whether it is a consequence of sublimated anger, as David Hamilton maintains.  Are they merely striking out to ward off their own exposure?

The panellists, by the way, are Benjamin Zephaniah, a Rastafarian dub poet and, apparently, a great man, Louise Bagshawe, an author and Conservative Party candidate at the next election, and Jonathan Bartley, who runs the Ekklesia think tank and who is a pacifist and advocate for “the full participation of gay and lesbian people in the church as an outworking of the Christian gospel”.

A mixed (race) bag

The latest anti-BNP smear from the Daily Mail:

Family of Winston Churchill slams BNP over far-right party’s attempt to hijack wartime leader’s legacy

Relatives of Sir Winston Churchill have denounced as ‘monstrous’ an attempt by BNP leader Nick Griffin to cloak himself in the mantle of Britain’s greatest wartime leader.

The far-right British National Party’s election broadcast, which is screened nationwide this evening, features Mr Griffin quoting from one of Churchill’s most famous speeches.

The BNP chief uses the broadcast to argue that modern Britain, with its record of welcoming immigrants, has betrayed the ‘the blood, sweat, toil and tears’ of those who fought for freedom in the Second World War.

... They have no right to use Churchill’s face in this way. It causes tremendous offence to people of the wartime generation.

‘They were a generous generation. They weren’t a mean-spirited generation. It is deeply offensive to his family and if the law were different we would take steps to stop it. To suggest that he would have supported something as wicked as the BNP is beyond the pale.’

I love the way these elitist crooks inform us that we have a “record of welcoming immigrants”.  I’ve never welcomed any immigrants.

The smear-piece goes on to quote from “The Rune”, an august publication in which Mr Griffin once waxed lyrical about the courage of the Waffen SS.  I really don’t see this working for them, do you?

Here’s a more subtle one from The Times titled, “Englishness needs more than a corny festival”.

If the thought of the left-wing intelligentsia gathering to wave St George’s crosses, watch terrier racing and applaud welly-boot throwing makes you smile, you’re not alone. But the IPPR has understood finally that the BNP has its tank on the long-neglected lawn of Englishness and is capitalising on grievance- fuelled politics. It urges mainstream parties to “combat the insinuation that Englishness is forbidden in our cultural and political life”.

The research paper, by Michael Kenny and Guy Lodge, acknowledges “a growing sense that Englishness is disapproved of by the politicial elite and most public authorities”. Dislike of English symbolism and the public celebration of English traditions, they add, has become prominent in recent years.

Kenny adds: “It is imperative that we do not let Englishness be tainted by the BNP and other opportunistic far-right parties. A sense of pride in being English and a growing wish to celebrate our English heritage and culture are positive developments that should be… encouraged by the main political parties.”

Migrants break out of Italian camp

Hundreds of asylum seekers and hopeful migrants have broken out of a holding centre on the Italian island of Lampedusa and marched to the town hall.

Bernardino De Rubeis, the island’s mayor, said that 700 out of about 1,300 people at the centre walked out on Saturday morning.  “It is a very tense situation,” he said.

Police said the group forced open the gates of the camp and marched peacefully to the town centre to protest against their detention.  They were joined by a few hundred locals who also want the inmates transferred to bigger camps elsewhere in Italy.

The Italian interior ministry said there had been “no escape of illegal immigrants” because it was a camp for assistance rather than expulsion, “so there is no obligation to stay there”.

Many were already returning to the camp, it said in a statement.

Boat people claim Thai mistreatment

Thai authorities are grappling with a scandal over alleged mistreatment by soldiers of hundreds of ethnic Rohingyas refugees from Myanmar.  Details are surfacing about the plight of Rohingya boat people who were apparently beaten by Thai soldiers before being towed out to sea.

The allegations, apparently supported by photographs and witness accounts, have dented Thailand’s tourist-friendly image. Some of the migrants managed to reach Indonesia and videos of them arriving on the shore show them to be in a shocking physical condition.  Others are in detention on the Indian islands of Andaman. Two of those held there have spoken of being abused by Thai soldiers.

The Bishop and the gas man

Rumours that the Pope has signed the withdrawals of excommunication of four “Lefebvrist” bishops of the Society of St Pius X have made news in The Times and caused its religious correspondent to suffer a fit of the vapours.  The reason?  One of the four, Bishop Richard Williamson, is something of a stickler for the historical record of the Holocaust.  As a result of his outspokenness he faces, Gledhill says, ...

... possible prosecution for Holocaust denial in Germany after an interview with a reporter from Stockholm TV in which he claimed that six million Jews did not die in the Holocaust, merely a few thousand, and that the gas chambers did not exist.

... In his previous utterances which have caused repeated deep offence to the Jewish community as well as many Catholics and other Christians who have heeded the message of Christian repentance towards the Jewish community as spelled out in the documents of Vatican II and elsewhere, the Society has refused to distance itself from him.

... Now it looks as though Williamson might have gone too far, even for his traditionalist brethren, and that he might at last face some sort of disciplinary action from the society, most if not none of whose members do not share his views. This would then make it possible for the Pope to realise his dream of bringing the society back into the fold, without Williamson.

Here’s what she means by “gone too far”.

Black Oak

Black Oak Media, based in Cherry Valley, IL, is a worthy example of cultural dissidence which has been publishing quarterly since winter 2007.  In the editors’ own words:-

The Telegraph censors refutation of Lewis Hamilton the hero

Today, in its campaign to present the negro Maclaren driver Lewis Hamilton as a national icon, the Telegraph finally came to the point.

... he is a hero to be emulated.

I demurred on the thread.  However, my brief if somewhat uncompromising comment was removed by the Telegraph moderators.

There are three fundamental reasons for admiring sportsmen. One is that they reflect some glory on one’s own people.

Hamilton is not English. I am, and I would prefer any Englishman, and indeed anyone of European lineage, to win anything before a Bantu, half or full.

The next reason for admiring a sportsman is that he or she has such a peerless talent, one is bound to applaud.

Hamilton has been silver-spoon fed by his Dad’s friend, Ron Dennis, since he climbed into a kart.  In F1 anyone can win in the best car - remember David Coulthard’s introduction to F1 in the all-conquering Williams.  Further, uniquely in Hamilton’s case, his team-mate is subtly disadvantaged and, last year, was outrageously regarded by Dennis himself as someone “we are racing against”.

So for now the peerless talent issue remains moot.

The third reason for admiring a sportsman is his or her moral nature.  All sport involves a tremendous struggle against the body, and it also offers a stage for the play of moral characteristics and the making of moral choices.  Men such as Michael Johnson, Bobby Charlton and Bobby Moore, Don Bradman and Garfield Sobers brought dignity or modesty or a purity of sporting passion that elevated them to the status of the genuine hero.

Michael Schumaker, in contrast, was a very great driver but morally he failed the test, and he was unloved in consequence.  The signs are that Hamilton will never be ranked among the heroic.

Finally, and unrelated to the admiration issue, I am very tired of the “Poster-Boy” element in the press’s treatment of Hamilton.  There is something political in it which I am bound to reject outright.  I don’t like having my views on race prescribed by the media, which is what most of the Hamilton kerfuffle is about.

Well, it was surely the second paragraph, and that too naked truth, “Bantu”, that did it.  The view that Lewis Hamilton is a negro living in the wrong country, like all negroes living in Europe, is problematic for a Judaised mind.  It cannot process the withholding of legitimacy from African populations in the ancient European homeland without experiencing a fit of the vapours.  The resulting censorship is only the latter-day ammonium carbonate for a correct-thinking MSM moderator.

In fact, over the last twenty months or so I have posted the simple thought that “Lewis Hamilton is not English” on a wide variety of MSM threads and even on the Autosport forums, almost always in response to journalists’ casual description of him as an “Englishman”.  Where my correction posted automatically it was almost always subsequently removed.  On the rest it never made an appearance at all.

There is something here that needs bringing out.  I know perfectly well that a claim that some rap artist in the news, or a black poet, is not actually one of the English people will sail through unremarked.  A white mother won’t make any - or enough - difference.  Nor should it.  Genetically, the English are a northern European people.  African admixture ends this.

But Hamilton is a media-created special case.  We have to believe the media story.  They want us to believe the story.  It is as if the arising of a potential black hero is too rare and, by its rarity, too precious to them to have the stark and uncompromising truth of his inalienable alienness pointed out.  And this, lest you failed to notice, is the racism of the Establishment.  This is the untrammelled desire to meddle in our sense of self, to engineer in us “higher feelings” and an end to racist ones.  The unspoken assumption that we are racist in this way, instead of merely human, and the sheer affrontery that these people have the right to alter us, is the endemic racism of the modern age.

I hope Hamilton fails to finish in tomorrow’s Brazilian GP.  But I fear that his car will be too good, and he will be able to coast around to finish fifth or higher and pick up the point he needs to win the championship.  Perhaps the boy can drive, I don’t know and don’t care.  I do know that we will see more ... much more ... of this media lionisation, all of it pure culture politics.

And that I am, indeed, bound to reject.

88 ... 14 ... Obama - UPDATE: The culprit was the ADL

Here we go again.

Law enforcement arrested two men in Tennessee who had plans to rob a gun dealer to shoot Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and “as many non-Caucasians” as possible, an official said on Monday.

An official from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said police found the men in the Jackson, Tennessee area with a number of guns, including a sawed-off shotgun, in their car.

“They wanted to go to a place where they could shoot as many non-Caucasian as they could,” the official said, noting that the men first planned to rob a gun dealer. “They also had a plot to assassinate Sen. Obama.”

The Associated Press gets the numbers sorted out.  88 for neo-nazis.  14 for the future of white children.

And, always important, the words: skinhead ... white supremacist ...

In court records unsealed Monday in U.S. District Court in Jackson, Tenn., federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school in a murder spree that was to begin in Tennessee. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.

Jim Cavanaugh, special agent in charge of ATF’s Nashville field office, said the two men planned to kill 88 black people, including 14 by beheading.

... The men also sought to go on a national killing spree after the Tennessee murders, with Obama as its final target.

... The men, Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman 18, of Helena-West Helena, Ark., are being held without bond. Agents seized a rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and three pistols from the men when they were arrested. Authorities alleged the two men were preparing to break into a gun shop to steal more.

... For the Obama plot, the legal documents show, Cowart and Schlesselman “planned to drive their vehicle as fast as they could toward Obama shooting at him from the windows.”

“Both individuals stated they would dress in all white tuxedos and wear top hats during the assassination attempt,” the court complaint states. “Both individuals further stated they knew they would and were willing to die during this attempt.”

Something I don’t think the assassination scare in August achieved - this one makes the lead story on both news services.  Drip, drip.

Barack Obama plotters revealed to be small-town outcasts who met on internet

Two white supremacists charged with plotting to kill Barack Obama have been revealed to be a pair of emotionally troubled young outcasts who found each other through the internet.

Daniel Coward, 20, of Bells, Tennessee, and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, hatched a bizarre but disturbing plan to go on a racist “killing spree” with the Democratic presidential contender as its ultimate target, say prosecutors.

The pair wanted to kill “88 people and behead 14 African-Americans” before shooting Mr Obama from their car in a suicide mission while wearing white dinner jackets and top hats, according to court papers.

The pair were arrested on Friday in Tennessee for illegal possession of firearms, threats against a presidential candidate and conspiring to rob a gun store.

In the pair’s home towns,

local people painted them as odd, and even disturbed, individuals.

In Helena-West Helena, Schlesselman was described as a “troubled child” by Marty Riddell, a colleague of his adoptive father, Mark Schlesselman.

Miss Riddell said she once tried to offer Schlesselman a pet lizard but was warned by his family that “he would hurt it”.

In Bells, a conservative Bible Belt town in a traditional southern cotton growing region, local people said Cowart had been an attention-seeker at high school, once starting a bomb scare.

Although neighbours were shocked to hear of his involvement, several - including a man who worked for the sheriff’s department - said there were more skinheads in the area than local people realised.

Guns and religion are strong in Bells and most men are keen hunters, although Cowart had apparently not been one of them.

He was more likely to have been found in church, said neighbours who said Cowart had once done missionary work for one of them.

Dudley Johnson, a car technician who lives near the large white colonial-style house where Cowart lived with his grandparents, described Cowart as a “nice little fella who used to work at the grocery store”. He added: “I think this was a cry for attention.”

Mr Johnson admitted his own father had tried to raise him to be a racist but that insisted “racism is not a big problem here - we try hard to get along with black people”.

Al Overton, a local hunter dressed in their uniform of camouflage jacket and baseball cap, said his initial shock at news of the plot had given way to a realisation that “This is 2008”.

He had little time for the Illinois senator. “Omama - Obama - thinks he’ll take the guns away but the hunters are not going to let him do that,” he said.

Investigators have admitted there did not appear to be any formal assassination plan. A lawyer for Cowart said he was reviewing the charges against his client “as well as the facts and circumstances of his arrest”.

It also emerged that the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights organisation, helped lead federal investigators and local police to the pair.

The ADL, which monitors white supremacist groups, discovered that Cowart was involved in the Supreme White Alliance, a racist skinhead group.

Mr Obama told the Pittsburgh television station KDKA he was unconcerned about his safety given his protection from “the best folks in the world - the Secret Service”.

He added: “You know, look, I think what’s been striking about this campaign is the degree to which these kind of hate groups have been marginalised.”
