But breeders can use a cycle that starts with thorium—search on “molten salt breeder” to read about it. 3

If we are in for an oil per capita squeeze and a de-electrification of our way of life the reservoir of technological creativity and innovation of our forefathers may not be in adequate supply now to confront it. For sure, though, the Third World doesn’t do technological creativity and innovation, and the Third Worlders coming to the West are highly likely to be a drag factor. If, as the TOD poster submits, population management will be one method of seeing our way through, it has to begin with repatriation. 4
