Clinton-Obama Ticket Stirs Fear in GOP

The possibility that a potential Democratic presidential primary matchup between Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama could lead to a Clinton-Obama ticket is raising concerns in GOP circles that it might be unbeatable.

Hahahahaha!

They’ve got to be kidding.  Is it just me?  Or, is it obvious that Obama as VP would guarantee a Republican victory?

Couple of thoughts:

1) as a Stormfronter pointed out, Obama may be getting all the hype precisely because he’ll make an excellent punching bag for Hillary down the road.
2) Obama is nobody.  His only qualification is that he’s a sambo (or maybe a mulatto).
3) The Republicans probably know all this and this is their B’rer Rabbit routine.
4) The Democrats probably know all this and maybe this is some tactic that isn’t obvious to me.

5) The Republicans and the Democrats are trying to give the people only one option: Vote Republican and continue the war in Iraq.

Remember, at the end of the day they still go to the same drinking club.

I think you may be underestimating the need of ideological One-Worlders for some confirmation - any confirmation - that their wet-dream is wanted by the rest of the world.  And there, in prospect, it is in the form of the election of a mulatto President or, just as good, Vice-President ... right there just beyond their fingertips, begging to be made real.

So the candidacy of Obama is a battle between Democrat hearts (“Hey, we really are freeing white folks from their inner racist. Oh Lord, we are men of history. We are giants.”) and Democrat heads (“Obama will be toast. Our beautiful dream will be toast. We will be toast.”).

Tough call, wouldn’t you say?

From Vox Day: http://voxday.blogspot.com/2006/12/were-all-ears-mr-obama.html

Apparently Obama is very sensitive about his massive ears.

I believe that thought # 1 is the most likely, and that Hillary will tear Obama to pieces with her sharp claws and pointy teeth.

Guessedworker’s post may have some merit as well, however.  There are enough American whites out there who would sprint to the voting booth to support Obama in an attempt to compensate for the guilt they feel over that twinge of fear they all get when they encounter an inner-city Negro.

“Apparently Obama is very sensitive about his massive ears.”

What about H. Ross Perot’s ears? Is there a pattern here?

And now there is the scandal about his special house and special yard. Apparently Obama is a little mobbed-up.

Just last night, we had a good long discussion of this issue…..Obama v Hillary, or Obama + Hillary. All were lifelong Democrats. Two were liberal women attorneys. One was a Mensa type. Another was a former economic professor. All but one came to the same explicit conclusion (but one)....

No way! This is a nutty idea. Could not even get the nomination by the party.

Yes, we are all quite well informed. Yes, we are all interested in the Democrats winning the White House in 2008. Yes, we all despise George Bush.

But….

The only people we have heard the past few years promote Hillary as a candidate for President (or VP) have been Republicans. They really get off on the idea of having her as an opponent. There is almost no one in the Democratic party that even wants her to run.

As for Obama…..The crowds that greet him and cheer are almost all White….in states that have almost no Black people. Black voters are not enthusiastic about Obama and they are not going to become Obama supporters. He is not White, but he is no more black than Tiger Woods. In fact, while Tiger’s mom is Asian, Obama’s is rather White from Kentucky.

In the history of the United States, only three states have had a black US senator. Mississippi had black senators during reconstruction. Massachusetts had Brooke. Illinois had Mosley-Braun and Obama. Except for reconstruction, 48 states have NEVER had a black US Senator and never have there there been two in the US Senate at the same time. Someone needs to explain why they think Obama can be president.
