Race relations head honch repudiates multiculturalism:

So farewell then, multiculturalism, dumped like prog rock and fondue sets in that dustbin for fads, the 1970s. Shall we kill it off? asked the man from the Times. “Yes, let’s do that,” replied Trevor Phillips, the head of the Commission for Racial Equality. “Multiculturalism suggests separateness. We are in a different world from the 70s.”

Just four years ago Phillips served on the Commission on the Future of Multi-Ethnic Britain that produced a blueprint for multiculturalism. But now, in an instant, the inviolable wisdom of a generation of liberals is buried. Confirming the sudden passing of the idea, Polly Toynbee, writing yesterday in this paper, congratulated Phillips: “[He] breaks with unctuous, unthinking platitudes about the richness of all diversity in a multicultural society, as if any difference was a self-evident asset.”

...in 2004. Funny thing, multiculturalism. You say goodbye to it one day, decide never to have anything to do with it anymore, and in two years’ time you find yourself still doing it, and having to go through the whole process again! It’s almost like we’re addicted to it. Or our leaders are at least, and like all addicts they aren’t really being honest when they say they plan to drop their habits. I didn’t believe them two years ago and I don’t believe them now.

The marxist-liberal Establishment has been in favour of ‘multi-culturalism’ for years because it seemed to them that it would be a means to strengthen Third World communities in this country. By doing so, the dominant Anglo-Saxon culture would be more easily undermined, which would in turn weaken the native population’s sense of identity and facilitate the ultimate goal of full-scale mongrelization.

This would, of course, only be possible with the simultaneous destruction of a once disciplined, hard-working, patriotic, traditional way of life, and its conversion into an immoral or entirely amoral, selfish, greedy, self-indulgent, ignorant, cynical & materialistic sick society, with neither the will nor the strength to resist.

Unfortunately for the Blairs & Browns with their warped hatred of their own kind, and the wishy-washy Camerons & Campbells with no feelings one way or the other, this policy has foundered on a ghastly mixture of Labour dishonesty, corruption and incompetence, PC outright insanity, Muslim fanaticism, and an absolute tidal wave of immigration bringing with it overcrowding, unemployment, and crime, to an extent that even the most apathetic have become aware of the more outrageous aspects.

So, ‘multi-culturalism’ is to be abandoned, and full-scale racial integration is to be forced on an unwilling nation without more ado, in the hope that it can be irreversibly implemented before there is a strong enough backlash to halt it.

Into this maelstrom come the British National Party determined that Britain shall survive as a Northern European homeland, and a vibrant Islamic Faith, contemptuous of the decadence of the host people and the weak, faithless Christian Church, and equally determined that Eurabia under strict Sharia Law will be a reality in a matter of a few generations.

If we don’t live in “interesting times” now, we soon shall.

A fine comment Stewart, but I can’t help thinking that you’re missing one or two things which might jeopardise your predictions. Specifically, a. that such an abandonment of the Multicult has been mooted and proclaimed before, with about as much sincerity and long-term dedication as can be found now. And b. that assimilationism at least provides us with yardstick, which we can use to beat (to mix my metaphors) the most alien of minorities and their xenophile defenders.

Perhaps the British government, having tried and failed to fabricate public consent to so-called ‘multiculturalism’ will now change semantic tack and, in an unprecedented bout of honesty, re-designate White race-replacement as ‘multi-racialism’.
