Gays are immoral, says top MuslimMulticulturalism, Diversity and PeeCee often throw up a remarkable combination of mind-boggling, er, combinations. We have “Sir” Iqbal Sacranie, a man who supported the fatwa against Salman Rushdie in the 1980s knighted by the geniuses at Nu Labour. On the other hand, we have the Homosexual lobby which effectively controls the British cabinet or certainly its “social” (or should that be “anti-social”?) policies. All working together, coming together in a wonderful happy clappy “diverse” paradise in which they lived happily ever after. Or so it seemed…... By David Sanderson His comments were condemned last night by gay rights groups and MPs from the three main political parties, who said that Sir Iqbal was swimming against the tide of public opinion. Speaking about civil partnerships, the first of which took place in Britain last month, Sir Iqbal said: “It does not augur well in building the very foundations of society: stability, family relationships. And it is something we would certainly not in any form encourage the community to be involved in.” Asked on the BBC Radio 4 PM programme if homosexuality was harmful to society, he replied: “Certainly it is a practice that in terms of health, in terms of the moral issues that comes along in a society, it is. It is not acceptable. “Each of our faiths tells us that it is harmful and, I think, if you look into the scientific evidence that has been available in terms of the forms of various illnesses and diseases that are there, surely it points out that where homosexuality is practised there is a greater concern in that area.” Peter Tatchell, the founder of the gay rights group OutRage!, said: “It’s tragic for one minority to attack another minority.” Alan Duncan, the most prominent openly gay Conservative MP, said: “This is an absurd medieval view. One should separate the religious from the secular. Such general condemnation is no longer acceptable in a civilised modern world.” Stephen Pound, the Labour MP for Ealing North, said: “It’s a cruel and vicious blow to strike against people who are born the way they are. We are living in 21st-century northern Europe, not 7th-century Arabia. It may come as a shock to Mr Sacranie, but I know many gay Muslims who are living perfectly normal, decent lives.” Evan Harris, the Liberal Democrat spokesman on human rights, said: “To imply that homosexuality itself was unacceptable is a form of intolerance that’s deplorable.” The advent of civil partnerships has been criticised by other religious leaders. Cardinal Keith O’Brien, the leader of Scottish Roman Catholics, used his New Year’s Day sermon to say that their introduction was partly responsible for us living “at a time when the truth of marriage and family is obscured and distorted”. Almost 700 civil partnerships were entered into on December 21, the day they became legal in England and Wales. ———- It says something about the health of this nation when a fatwa supporting Muslim cleric is the only public figure talking sense on this issue. Posted by Phil on January 07, 2006, 07:11 PM | # Al, Indeed. Pederasty in Islam is very widespread phenomenon as you correctly note. This article covers that extensively. However, what Sacranie said about Homosexuality would have been considered moderate, normal and mainstream up until the late 1950s. 3
Posted by Al Ross on January 07, 2006, 07:20 PM | # Phil I like normal, moderate and 50’s mainstream. What I object to is the interference of innately backward Third-Worlders in the affairs of the country of which I am a citizen. 4

Posted by Phil on January 07, 2006, 07:31 PM | # Al, But the point of this post was not about endorsing Sacranie though if one only looks at what he said in isolation, I fail to find fault. What he may privately say is another matter. The point of the post was to illustrate the maddening contradictions of post-modern Liberalism - Islamists, Homosexuals all in a “rainbow” coalition. The cracks keep coming into view every so often. All said and done, I have zero sympathy for the Homosexual lobby. From perverse rubbish like “Brokeback Mountain” at Christmas to the legalisation of Gay “marriage” and rights to adopt children, this lunacy has gone far enough. What is galling is that in that context only a backward third worlder voiced opposition to it. What of the “enlightened” populace? They seem to be celebrating it as another victory for the progressive cause. 6
Posted by Al Ross on January 07, 2006, 07:56 PM | # There is, I’m sure, a widening disconnect between Britain’s “enlightened” populace and the ordinary commonsense-endowed majority of citizens who probably share your view on this matter,Phil. I havent seen Brokeback Mountain or indeed any Western directed by a Chinaman, but it is fun to speculate on the cinematic outcome which might be engendered by casting Ernest Borgnine and Jack Elam as the homosexualist cowboys. 7

Posted by Phil on January 07, 2006, 08:05 PM | # Al, I haven’t seen Brokeback Mountain either although seeing those posters while going into work in the morning is bad enough. It is interesting that the director of that film is ethnic Chinese (Taiwanese I believe). Taiwan actually has a very powerful pro-Gay movement developing. Gay pride parades have now become quite common in Taiwan. And Taiwan has the most favourable pro-Gay laws in East Asia. Incindentally, I detest the way the English language has been twisted and assaulted by the progressives. “Gay” in the past meant happy and jolly men with absolutely no sexual connotation. I remember listening to a Civil War song which had a reference “.....and the gentlemen were gay” (The Battle of Bull Run). It had nothing to do with their desire to bugger. The way a language gets twisted and deformed reflects what is happening to the culture. 9

Lyrics of an old Civil War song I once heard: The sun shown bright and clear that day We said we’ll run ‘em to Atlanta and to Galveston Bay The ladies wore their brightest shawls We said we’ll run ‘em to Atlanta and to Galveston Bay And then the general doffed his hat and said let’s rest a spell We said we’ll run ‘em to Atlanta and to Galveston Bay A fight locked in the chest of time too horrible to tell 10

The multi-cult outline a position on some issue or other and then some muslim spokesman (its never a woman) or homicidal maniac jumps up and proceeds to blatantly wreck the carefully wrought liberal position. Well done chaps. 11

I remember some story or other where some imam or other had issued a fatwa on someone for defaming Christ. I remember thinking, “you know you have a problem when…” This has nothing to do with religion either - I’m an agnostic at my most faithful. It has to do with pride and culture. We should all get pissed if aliens denigrate Zeus, too. And yes Phil, it sucks that the word gay has been murdered. I don’t refer to homosexuals as gays, at least not when my thinking cap is on. 14

Funny how that word, “minority” works, isn’t it? Racists are a minority; somehow I can’t imagine any minority attacking me ever drawing the word “tragic” from Tatchell’s lips. 15

Posted by friedrich braun on January 08, 2006, 04:59 PM | # I don’t view Muslims as my natural enemies - unlike another group of Semites. On the contrary, Muslims are the only people today openly telling the Jews to fuck off. They oppose Zionism, Israel, Jewish power, cosmopolitanism, globalisation, capitalism, the US hegemony, decadence, immorality, and so on and so forth…a lot of what they’re saying is music to my ears. They’re only a problem because large numbers of mostly inassimilable Muslims have emigrated to western countries…and whose fault is that? It’s the fault of the corrupt western governments who let them in or invited them on behalf of greedy capitalists. Blame 18

What lunacy are you talking about? There are millions of unwanted, abused and abandoned kids in the world - products of dysfunctional heterosexual relationships? You should be thankful that there are many gay couples who would be willing to reach out and to provide loving homes to some of these children. - Maybe you should move to an Islamic state where you can’t even enjoy the simple pleasures of life like drinking, watching your favorite porn, masturbating, or driving a car (if you’re a woman). Not all gay people are demented or sick like you want to portray them to be. I’ve known heterosexuals who are sick, demented and perverse, but I don’t tell the world that all heteros are like that! Be reasonable. 19
Posted by Phil Peterson on January 15, 2006, 04:54 PM | # Have you actually seen “Brokeback Mountain?” If you haven’t, you’re in no position to attack it. I have no intention of seeing it either. I am under no obligation to watch every piece of Cultural Marxist rubbish that Hollywood produces. Gay people only want the same rights as you do - and that includes marriage and rights to adopt children. They can have those rights by marrying members of the opposite sex. But Gay marriage is a non-starter to say nothing of gay adoptions of children - a truly absurd consequence of decades of progressivism. Find me one society in history that engaged in such absurdity. Maybe you should move to an Islamic state where you can’t even enjoy the simple pleasures of life like drinking, watching your favorite porn, masturbating, or driving a car (if you’re a woman). Europe will become Islamic within the next few decades. I hope you and your gay friends have a good time when it does. As Mark Steyn says,
Good luck to you and yours. 20
Posted by Roger Dogma on February 18, 2007, 07:22 PM | # This is discouraging. There are people here with thinking minds, but most blurred by divisive hate. Some encourage me to -try- to see their point of view, but it’s discouraging when so much aggression and negativity get in the way of : Finding a way to bring about Discussion for the sake of Enlightening Others in the media-fed mainstream who still can get a spark by rubbing two remaining brain cells together (between commercials) What happens if I fail (your) little scan-tron 6 out of 10 point test on “likeness-viability”.... do I get killed for being a white, charismatic christian gay (celibate by choice) male? or just treated like crap for my mere existance? Does “white” keep me alive and the rest limit my life, in your “ideal future”? I did see Brokeback Mountain. It is an emotional film. Mostly I felt sorry for the wives of the men. They were shortchanged because of the false marriages that they were in because of the society that was intolerant. The good women and their children suffered.. the men led broken lives. It was a snapshot of society, in part. What can you actually -build- besides an instrument, political or social, of hate? Can you construct something that is so prolifically wonderful that those “outside” your group shine so far that they become the -example- that they want to fashion themselves after? -without the cost of destroying another race, another “division” of humanity? Show me that; white “superiority” with benevolence, even in its separateness, to those outside of itself..and maybe I could support it. or am I just preselected and categorized for extermination because I don’t fit in your jackboots? 21
Posted by Count Sudoku on February 19, 2007, 12:31 AM | # Roger, Most of the people on this board know and have seen a LOT to hate in their lives and they are pretty sure things are going to get worse (a lot worse) before they get better (if it ever does get better). As for the white “superiority” with benevolence, that is one of our greatest weaknesses as a race as I’m sure others here will atest to. Just today I have read http://southafricasucks.blogspot.com/ Stupid White Liberal Doctor “Who Saw Only Blacks” Murdered by the Vipers he Held so Dear Wife heard her husband choke to death in his own blood…. AND Stupid White Liberal Pays Ultimate Price for Clutching Viper to her Breast When he had no place to live and no one to turn to, it was Gladys Marguerite (Rita) Burdett who took him in along with his mother. But Burdett’s generosity did not deter the 15-year-old New South African schoolboy from biting the hand that fed him, when he turned on the unsuspecting 86-year-old last week. The youth and his 17-year-old accomplice admitted in the Pietermaritzburg High Court on Wednesday that they had planned to rob and kill Burdett - a co-founder of Treverton Preparatory School - and that they had throttled her. These guys have seen too much evil and insanity which has made them much more “aggressive and negative” than they were less than a year ago. Next entry: Would you believe it? Far better to emulate the prophet of the Arab deity and have sexual relations with a 9year-old. This ‘British’ Iqbal (the name, in a toothsome irony, is Arabic for desire) would be better advised to look to his native Pakistan and the mind-buggering activities of his namesake and co-religionist, Javed Iqbal : www.rotten.com/library/bio/crime/serial-killers/javed-iqbal/
I would like to see ‘Iqbal the Brit’, aided by a family-reunification programme, rejoin his kinsmen in Pakistan.
