This could well be culture over genes. Recent ancestors will tend to figure more highly in peoples self-perception of their origins. Due to their being the earliest settlers, Brits ought to figure as a higher percentage than those given. Maybe.

I thought it was common knowledge that Germans comprised the single largest ethnic group. Certainly the Jewish elites have known it, which possibly is one reason for their relentless support of third world immigration.

As for the decline of the WASP elites, they have no one else but themselves to blame.

Blacks, Asians, & “Hispanics” aren’t minorities—they are non-whites.

We can reverse those percentages, John, by simple measures such as stopping all non-WASP immigration, taking away government downward pressure on WASP and other white birth rates so those birth rates in particular will revive, and humane repatriation of incompatibles already here in excessive numbers.  Are you, in principle, on board John?  Or do you just enjoy needling people who question the goal of white extinction (WASP extinction along with it)?

I blame our WASP elite, who willingly dismantled their power structure - even a casual examination of the IVY league schools, for example will indicate what group is running them now. Harvard, for example, is less that 15% white male, let alone wasp.
Is this what our ancestors sacroficed for? So one, selfish, corrupt, weak generation could throw it all away?
So, from his law chair, alan dershowitz could foam at the mouth everytime christianity was mentioned in public, and advocate torturing palestinians?
So divnity students at HDS can be chastised for using AD and BC? or at Darthmouth, an allegedly anglican school, Roth can open a university funded jewish center and bann christmas carols?
What *wasps* have to realize and whites in general is that every minority ethinic group and particularly THAT ethinic group, aggresively advocates that we destroy our indenties - any indentifyable anglo saxon instutions must be either transformed or destroyed: at the same time they are telling us this, they are strenthening their own ethinic groups and ties. It took me awhile, but when you finally ‘see it’ its as clear as day.

I agree with Lurker, that relying on self-reported data is problematic.  “WASP” has an evil connotation in America.  Then again, Germans aren’t exactly blemish-free, but at least they’re “exotic” compared to WASPs.

Yes, but humans are a special case.  Human life is orders of magnitude more complex than animal life.  Yes, the rules still hold, but there are many ways of looking at fitness.  If Jews manage to successfully wield the less fit races to destroy European man, was European man truly less fit?  In one sense, the answer is obviously yes.  In other senses, the answer is no (e.g., Jews will have reduced their own fitness in the process).

What I found interesting about the New Yorker article is how the group spontaneously evolved in one of the most inhospitable environments known to White people: the prison system. There is a lesson of survival here whether we like the teachers of it or not and I don’t.

The phenomena of prison rape is despicable, more so as the state uses it as part of its deterrent mechanism, especially when it comes to getting people to turn state’s evidence. As Paul Craig Robert’s says it’s the modern equivalent of torture: you cop a plea to get a lighter sentence in a less violent facility or risk a jury trial and the option of spending the next 20 years fighting to preserve your asshole.

WASPs rare in America?  People like John Ray throw up their hands as if nothing can be done, as if all’s finished, and console themselves by “learning to love it,” console themselves by reflecting how much they like Subcontinentals after all.  We all like Subcontinentals, John.  They’re charming, they’re intelligent, they’re refined, many of them belong to what is a handsome race physically, even a beautiful one.  But none of that’s the point.  Furthermore, plenty of Subcontinentals (who never expected that when they came to the U.S. or England they were coming to countries that had somehow become transformed before they got here into Mexico/China and Pakistan/Jamaica) are on the side of the “close the damn borders and send back the ones already here!” faction.  The point, John R., is keeping us, ourselves, intact and alive as a race, something we’ve every right to strive for.  (And no, Ark, the Bible contains no clear admonition against Christians doing precisely that:  striving reasonably and humanely after that goal is one-hundred-percent compatible with Christianity despite what certain extemely confused priests my try to insinuate.)  WASPs rare?  How did that happen, and whoever said what’s done can never be undone?  The other side?  Of COURSE the other side wants everyone to believe that!  But it’s A BIG LIE!  The other side went from a standing start to where we are today:  us being literally replaced by the Third World!  Anyone think we can’t do precisely the same in reverse any time we decide to?  What, pray tell, are the constraints keeping us from doing exactly that?  This thing that’s happening, this unbelievable nightmare, is not some irresistible force of nature although the other side would just LOVE everyone to believe that it is.  They, the other side, are doing it!  THEY are doing it, not some unstoppable volcano or hurricane or earthquake, not the moon pulling on the unstoppable ocean tides!  Ordinary people just like you and I are doing this. These demographic percentages can be reversed in no time, no time at all, where there’s a will!  Get the WASP birth rates up on all sides of the ocean where WASPs make their homes, halt all incompatible immigration both legal and illegal, humanely send incompatibles already here in excessive numbers back where they came from, and develop thick skins finally, for when the Marxists call us “racists” and the Jews “anti-Semites” for the “crime” of merely fending off our own racial/cultural/civilizational destruction and extinction.  Who in the hell cares when Marxists call us racists!  Let them spout their nonsense all they want.  As far as Jews calling us “anti-Semites” goes, lots of the ones who do that are white-Christian haters who will never be content as long as white Christians are living and breathing.  Merely by existing, we offend them deeply.  That type of Jew wants our eradication.  Are we going to flinch when that type of individual calls us names?  I should say not.  There are Jews who make fools of themselves, clowns of themselves, doing that sort of thing.  Some of them are nutcases who need to see psychiatrists.  Plenty of Jews see it, cringe, and wonder why gentiles are so suppine before it.  Plenty of Jews would be more openly on our side if we only displayed a little backbone and stopped being such pushovers.  David Ben Gurion once admonished the pioneer generation trying to build Israel in the early years, when Israel had come in for some international criticism or other, “It doesn’t matter what the goyim say.  It only matters what the Jews do!”  Well, white-Euro Christians should repeat that excellent advice to themselves next time they get called anti-Semite by the usual suspects merely for wanting to save themselves:  in spirit, Ben Gurion is telling us, It doesn’t matter what the Jews say.  It only matters what the Euro Christians do!

If WASP has an evil connotation in America (according to one poster here), we all know which group of ethnic competitors gave it that connotation! WASP just means descendant of the founding English population of America. WASPS created and defined American creativity, liberty, and economic prowess. If that is somehow bad, it reveals much more about the people that believe that than it does about WASPS.

Has anyone else noticed that America’s steady and rapid ascent under WASP leadership slowed and reversed when the WASP establishment was replaced by that other group? Of course correlation does not equal causation but it does not preclude it either. I would suspect that the statistics on the increase of serious social pathologies in America are strongly positively correlated with the end of the rule of the organic elites around 1965.

The inorganic new ‘elites’ that have aggresively colonized America’s institutions have brought this country into disrepute around the world.

I say bring back the WASPS, please.

I’m doubtful of this. The only part of me that’s not British is the tiny French part, and many in the South are like this. The South and other parts of the heartland missed a lot of the new waves of immigrants. We’re still largely old stock even if we identify as “American” instead of “British” - as the core of the nation, such identity shouldn’t be surprising.

Though as each generation passes, there’s likely a very high degree of intermarriage among all of the white groups. And the US has recently become far more transient so, whites from all over are moving into every area.

My Celtic ancestry makes me non Anglo, my militant rejection of the dogmata of the Reformation makes me non-Protestant…and though I have spent many years in States which are Southern and/or Confederate I have no
nationality or ethnicity. I can prove descent from XVI Century Kernow. so I’ll be ready to duke it out dreckly with anyone who says it’s part of england.

I’m northern italian, celtic/lombard origin.
I live in North of Itay , I do not want my sons and their sons to live in this melting pot that is europe. Poor europe, the heart of our civilisation is so desperate..no goals other than the personal wealth, no feeling of our history, full of relativism. We are dying daily without hope.
I like to watch us movie in the ‘50s to find respect, awareness to be a part of a great culture, moral and conventional behaviour and maybe a little bit of hypocrisy, but it is not a tragedy.
This afternoon on TV there wil be “the green berets” and I will watch it for the 19th time.
John wayne, James Stewart, Gregory Peck ...why are they dead?
I’m not mad just full of nostalgia..I miss your (and mine) old good white world.
